Gill is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. He married his wife, Caroline, in 2016 they have one child. Gill was named the indoor athlete of the year in 2008 by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association after he won the 1,000-meter race at the New England Championships with a time of 2:24.73.
